Knott's Scary Farm

Last week my mom said she would buy tickets for Peter and I and herself and boyfriend to go to Knott's. Due to financial constraints (she bought me a car) she couldn't. Pete and I were a bit bummed but moved on.

Yesterday at work I bought tickets for us to go that night and told Pete we had to go pick up my car from my mom's (she lives 2 minutes from Knott's) and when we got there I told him. He was very happy and appreciative. Especially because I remembered to bring (most of) his overnight stuff, as we were spending the night at my mom's.

It was a lot of fun :] I got scared about a billion times as well as typically getting comments from the ghoulies like "NICE HAIR!" etc.

Also, zombie chicks are fucking HOTT.

The scariest maze was the insane asylum. The coolest one was Club Blood. The two worst ones were the Alien maze and the "Corn Stalker" maze. Pretty weak.

HALLOWEENER

So I'm getting my Halloween costume tonight. I'm not saying what it is but on Halloween I'll post a picture of me wearing it & what not. Pete's getting stuff for his costume tonight too and its basically the cutest idea I have ever heard.

I went to the DMV after work yesterday and the line was too long so I went again this morning and successfully got my permit reprinted. My appointment (I probably already mentioned this) to get my license is November 18th in the morning. I'm excited :]

In other news, my work is having a pumpkin carving contest and I have no idea what I'm going to carve into a pumpkin to win this prize, whatever it is. I do know that the pumpkin we're keeping at home is going to have a large cannibis leaf carved into it, which I thought was witty.

ANYWAY, back to the grind.

WHEN I WAS

I just scheduled my appointment at the DMV to get my Driver's License but now I have to leave work early so I can get my permit number (apparently you can't do it over the phone) from the DMV itself. Then I have to give it to Geico because if I don't I guess I don't have insurance anymore.

I love my car. It's absolutely perfect for me. I can't wait to drive it around :]

I'm at work right now..it's workish. Typically. Earlier I went on my ex's blog because my coworker mentioned it and he was basically talking a bunch of shit on me which I guess I should have expected. No dumpee takes kindly to the dumper.

Anyway, my lunch is almost over so I'm going to eat my noodles and I'll write more later.

You Have Been Gone Too Long

Today I woke up angry. My mom called me and told me the truck I'd been trying to buy off her (for over 3 months now) was going to cost too much to repair.

She then proceeded to BUY ME a car. So I now have a car, but no license. But I'm going to call tomorrow and make my appointment because I'm far beyond ready to ace it. I test drove the car she bought me- it handles BEAUTIFULLY. Her boyfriend got me a Hello Kitty bumper sticker, steering wheel cover, license plate frame, and key chain. I love them.

My mom also gave me Marc Jacobs perfume and the cutest black suede wedges I have EVER seen. I really love my mom.

On the way home from her house, Peter and I had a very deep heart to heart and tears were shed and I feel like I know him even better now.

The long and the short of it is I am well on my way to being completely independent and I am more in love than I ever have been or ever will be.

Fun With Dick and Jane

So I'm at Chance's apartment right now. It's 11:42 am on Saturday- I arrived at about 10:00 pm last night (Friday). I should be in my psychology class right now but I dropped it. Or rather, it dropped me.

I'm pretty stoked about getting my prints made so I can start selling them and make a name for myself. Also, I had my first photo shoot at work the other day and one of my pictures is going to be on the website for the company. I work for a very prestigious rock climbing shoe company.

Last night and this morning has been the most fun I've had in a while :] We went to Denny's for breakfast in the morning. I got a pack of cigarettes. Now we're all at Chance's waiting for Austin's parents to leave town so we can go sit in the spa at his house.

We had a lengthly conversation on all the new "Props" this voting season. A lot of them are actually really important. Not including Prop 8 which is a waste of time in Congress. Seriously, it's not like you have to go to their wedding. It's not like they just go willy nilly through the streets having sex. People are crazy.

If marriage was so "sacred" there would be a law that made adultery illegal. Apparently cheating when you're married isn't sacrilege.

Prints, etc.

So I basically dropped out of college to work. I work 8 hours a day, five days a week making enough to get by comfortably.

I'm going to start saving so I can buy prints which I'll hopefully have some of by next month. I'm not really sure how to price them but I'm sure I'll be able to figure that one out.
